EVERETT, WA. – The 2012 Professional Indoor Football season is set to start in the next 2 weeks and the Everett Raptors are fired up for their inaugural season in the IFL. There are 25 roster spots to fill as training camp opened on Saturday at Marysville Indoor Sports and 40 athletes are working hard with hopes of securing one of those spots.
Some are veterans, some have never played the indoor game before but all of them will have to prove themselves to the coaches. “It’s going to be tough cutting 15 guys, I mean, I’ve got a lot of talented athletes out here and every one of them would bring something great to our team but the reality is, I only have so many spots and I’m going to have to look long and hard at each one of these guys” said head Coach, Sean Ponder.
The Everett Raptors will play 7 regular season home games at Comcast Arena in Everett (all games start at 7:05pm):
- March 1 vs. Allen Wranglers
- March 22 vs. Tri-Cities Fever
- April 5 vs. Nebraska Danger
- May 4 vs. Tri-Cities Fever
- May 26 vs. Colorado Ice
- May 31 vs. New Mexico Stars
- June 7 vs. Allen Wranglers
Tickets are available at the Raptors Office, and at the Comcast Arena Box Office, online at www.comcastarenaeverett.com, and charge-by-phone 425-512-0158 or 866-332-8499.
